Welcome to the Babylon Little League Website!

Congratulations to the new Board of Directors for the 2009 season! .......Congratulations to all the Babylon District 34 Teams on a great Summer tournament!

Please click here for an important letter from President Kevin Going!

Congratulations to the new Board of Directors for 2009. Returning as President is Kevin Going. Coming back to the board from last year: Gordon Blau, Frank Bruno, Ricky Young, Nick Giampietro, Sean Marron, Joe McGarvey, Tim McCaffrey, Danny McHugh, Rich Meyerson. We welcome new board members: Dave Zarrello, John McCamphill and Mike Carmody. We thank Rich Finelli and Marc Howard who both stepped down this year for their dedicated service to the league. Ken Rende will stay on as treasurer and non voting board member. We hope to make this a great year for the Babylon Little League. The full list of directors and their email can be found here

If you have had the chance to drive by the Locust Avenue Fields you will notice that the entire infields of both fields have been re-graded and covered with new sod.  This work is being done with the help of Greg Sharp, of the Landtek Group, and the Village. A special thanks goes out to all for the hard work.  We will be realigning both fields so that all is ready for the start of our 2009 season.  We have also added new drains on the fields to help during inclement weather.  Soon the outfields will be aerated and seeded as well.  We will oversee significant repairs at Ralph Avenue prior to the spring season. While the work is being done -- and throughout the remainder of the fall -- we would appreciate it if no one uses the field.  This will ensure that we get the maximum benefit out of these repair exercises.  In addition to field upgrades, the Babylon Little League will start construction of a new snack stand in the next few weeks.

There are NO DOGS Allowed on the Ralph Avenue Field. It is a baseball field and used for soccer practice also. Your children run on these fields. Please respect the field and what it is supposed to be used for.

Here is a great effort by Matt Stark 11-12 yr old Fall Ball team!

I WANT TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO THANK BABYLON LITTLE LEAGUE AND ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR HONORING ME AT OPENING DAY. PHIL PANARELLI'S WORDS WERE VERY KIND BUT I AM A LITTLE EMBARRASSED BY THE ACCOLADES SINCE I WAS ONLY DOING SOMETHING I ENJOYED. IN TURN, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE BABYLON LITTLE LEAGUE FOR PERMITTING ME TO MANAGE FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS IN OVER 400 GAMES. I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT AND WILL FOREVER HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF MY TIME WITH THE LITTLE LEAGUE, THE PARENTS AND PLAYERS. AS I HAVE ALWAYS SAID, THERE ARE FEW BETTER PLACES TO BE THEN ON A BALL FIELD WITH YOUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FRIENDS.

THANK YOU AGAIN.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
