It’s time to start planning for our Summer 2024 All Star Teams, which will be playing in the D34 Summer Invitational.

This is an opportunity to continue building strong teams for the present and the future, especially as the boys look towards competitive baseball together in both middle school and high school.  We will have teams at the 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U levels this year.The 12 year-old team (2nd years majors players) will also participate in the Williamsport tournament with an opportunity to advance to the Little League World Series.

We do not host any games in Babylon; the majority of the games are played at Half Hollow Hills or other fields in the district.

We will host a tryout like we did last year, which will be held on Sunday, May 19.The Managers for the teams and times for the tryout will be: 

• 8U – Mike Williams (Tryout 5/19 4:30pm – 6:30pm LOCUST SOUTH)
• 9U – Bryan LoPalo (Tryout 5/19 2pm – 4pm LOCUST SOUTH)
• 10U – Pete Smaldone (Tryout 5/19 11:30am-1:30pm LOCUST SOUTH)
• 11U – Justin Sturiale (Tryout 5/19 9am – 11am LOCUST SOUTH)
• 12U – Bill Thayer (Tryout 5/19 9am – 11am LOCUST SOUTH)

Please fill this out completely, including anticipated summer vacation days.

YOU MUST REGISTER by Friday, 5/17 to be considered for the team. However, we do understand each player may not be able to attend the tryout.  If you cannot attend the tryout, you are still eligible to make the team.  This will be at the discretion of each coaching staff.

After the tryout, the coaching staffs will get together and choose their roster, which will be anywhere from 10 – 15 players.  While we would love to welcome every kid that registers, there will likely be some cuts as this is a widely competitive and intensive 8 weeks.  This includes 2-3 practices and 3 games per week.The league runs from 6/24 – 8/4. 

Game days are below, but times can vary on weekdays and weekends.

• 8U & 9U – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
• 10U – Sunday, Wednesday and Friday
• 11U – Saturday, Monday & Thursday
• 12U – Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
